Post: RE: Usenet

As far as I know, Vuze is strictly a bittorrent client - Vuze has nothing to do with Usenet.  You won't be able to use Vuze to download and unpack the binary files found on Usenet. I suggest SABnzbd ...

Post: RE: Vuze no longer appearing in Tivo 'Now Playing'...

Since an update earlier this year by TiVo, there have been complaints showing up on here and elsewhere that TiVo Roamios no longer "see" media servers like Vuze.  However, updated Roamios apparently s...

I've never used Vuze as a search engine, but do you think the fact that the Pirate Bay and EZTV both just got shut down might have something to do with the sudden drop in torrents available?

I have to agree with Havokdan.  I have updated Vuze dozens of times and never gotten one piece of unwanted software installed in the process (I am currently running V5.5.0.0/4).  But then, I always ch...

I was using IP Blocker (the "premium" version, no less) when I got my notices.  I then read that IP Blocker is useless - which was certainly my experience. To each their own.  I've found just the opp...

Post: RE: busted by cable company

After getting two notices in 2009 (no VPN or proxy), I switched to Usenet for most of my content - Usenet is theoretically 100% safe, since you don't upload content, you only download it.  I've never ...

Will do - Thanks! In the meantime, I've learned that Gary Fung (of isoHunt fame) has posted a copy of TPB as oldpiratebay.org.  I got a file from there that was OK.  The swarms are pretty small, unde...

Since it looks like the Pirate Bay may finally be gone for good this time, anyone in Vuzespace have other trackers that they can suggest as a replacement?

Use VLC - it's the best player out there, and doesn't need codecs of any kind: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html BTW, if a video doesn't play in VLC, then that video is either broken or fake - ...

Hi Navarre:  To get subtitles to show up in a video transcoded in Vuze Devices, you have to "hard code" the subtitles into the video before transcoding the video in Vuze. If you're working with .mkv ...

That's a good question.  Since a folder is associated with a profile in Devices that is specific to a particular device, my guess is that there is no option within Vuze to change the destination Trans...

In the FAQ for Vuze Devices, there's a link for supported devices: http://wiki.vuze.com/w/Supported_Devices Twonky is not on this list.  That -might- be your problem.
