Can't remove a specific tracker from sources tab.
Posted by: gALANE - 01-03-2018, 01:11 AM - Forum: Community Open Support - No Replies

For some reason this tracker http://glotorrents.pw/announce http://glotorrents.pw:80/announce cannot be removed from the Sources tab. The only way to remove it is by editing the tracker list. All other trackers can be removed by right clicking them then clicking Remove. This one just stays in the list.

I'm a VUSE PLUS owner and I have an ad showing in the My Torrents column...why?  It says Plus users don't see ads.

changing directory all my existing .torrent and data files/folders are in
Posted by: coyote2 - 12-08-2017, 08:59 PM - Forum: Community Open Support - Replies (3)

I know that when I installed Vuze I selected my (identical) directory for all my Vuze .torrent and data files/folders (I like them in the same directory) at:

Options|Files|Torrents|Save Directory
Options|Files|Default directory

I'd like to change the directory.  But when I tried that Vuze couldn't find any of the moved files despite my changing those settings fields.

Selecting row(s) then Right-click|Advanced|Move torrent file didn't achieve my goal.

Is there a way to do what I want without removing/re-loading all my (about 700) torrents?

Columns Not Sorting and no Drag and Drop
Posted by: RachRB - 11-22-2017, 05:17 PM - Forum: Community Open Support - Replies (1)

Everything worked fine up until 3 days ago...previously I could sort torrents by date added, completed on, name (alphabetically) etc. and drag to visible, online devices...now its as if the column headers are no longer dynamic...

Any thoughts on a fix?

Thanks

  Vuze over LAN
Posted by: Medarta17 - 11-14-2017, 12:36 PM - Forum: Community Open Support - No Replies

So i have a bit of a fringe case here.
Im going to be hosting a LAN party soon.  One of our biggest problems is game aquizition.  We have all the games for everyone but need to deploy them out.  thumb drives or directly sharing from a computer isnt really an option as we are going to have close to 100 people.  USB drives go missing and no one computer can handle that number of upload requests, and directing folks to use other systems is a nightmare.  Hence why im using Vuze.  I have a server running several SSD's in raid 0, running a tracker, our own dns, and own web server the torrents are hosted on this server as well as 6 other seed boxes around our network which is 10Gb backbone, 1Gb to the computers, 10Gb to the server.  i've gone through and created the torrents, and they are on all the seed boxes, all the seeds can be seen, but im getting absolutely horrible transfer speeds!
The server is only uploading at 10MB/s - (combined upload of 29 torrents)
but clients are barely pulling 4MB/s when trying to download 29 torrents! and it will randomly stop all downloads for a few seconds, then start again.

When i first built this system last year, it worked pretty good, i only had 3 seed boxes and the server, but clients were maxing out their 1Gb connection.  What gives?
Is there something in the torrent creation that could cause them to be horribly slow?
would having the seed boxes and the server set to "forced seed" becausing problems?
All upload and download limits are set to unlimited
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  Vuze and BiglyBT running simultaneously?
Posted by: coyote2 - 09-30-2017, 01:55 PM - Forum: Community Open Support - Replies (2)

Is there a reason I shouldn't run both Vuze and BiglyBT running simultaneously?

(Pointed at completely different folders, with completley different torrents loaded.)

I need to run more than one BT client, one with a proxy and one without a proxy.

I really love Vuze/BiglyBT, and I'm wondering if the BiglyBT gives me the opportunity for BOTH clients I run to be great.

Java 9 issue, failing to load, +Firefox magnet link setup failing
Posted by: Melchior - 09-28-2017, 03:32 PM - Forum: Community Open Support - Replies (3)

Azureus/Vuze failing to load with the NEW Java v9 :(
Fixed with the work around, declare new environment variable.
EXE4J_JAVA_HOME = %ProgramFiles%\Java\jre-9\

2nd issue is Firefox magnet link support continues FAIL with same error popup
:(  requesting user to define "EXE4J_JAVA_HOME"

I checked Firefox  settings, the links still pointed to Azureus.exe so all is well there...

A restart of Firefox didn't help either again..

I also searched the Windows registry to find if it was broken some where in relations to Firefox, but nothing stood out at first glance...

any know fixes or workarounds?
the only workaround I figured out is to manually copy and paste the magnet link into Azureus/Vuze...

Where is this stored? I want to do an analysis to determine the day of the week with the least download activity for a specific site
