Hi, I'm using azureus-5.5.0.1_B08 with Java 1.7.0_71 on fedora20. I received an swt update the other day (swt-4508-gtk-linux-x86_64.zip), and after installing it, the text on the left menu disappeared. I placed it over the existing swt.jar file. Is this not correct? I've attached a screenshot.

I've also recently (again) joined the beta program, and it's downloading a number of other jar files, and I have no idea where they're supposed to go:

- azmsgsync_0.6.0.jar
- azneti2phelper-linux_0.9.17.1.zip

Also, when I receive an Azureus2.jar update, it's never installed after restart, but I must manually kill azureus, install the update manually, then restart.

I installed it from source quite a while ago. Here is the script that I use to update it:

sudo java -cp ./plugins/azupdater/Updater.jar org.gudy.azureus2.update.Updater updateonly `pwd` /home/dave/apps/vuze

Isn't it possible for azureus to automatically update itself on Linux like it is on Windows?

It does auto restart if you use the script that comes with the linux install archive from https://sourceforge.net/projects/azureus...Vuze_5500/

There are multiple files there. Can you be more specific about which one contains the upgrade script?

either the azureus or vuze shell scripts I believe - there is also a version of the update script contained in the Azureus2.jar that Vuze will extract at runtime if it has been changed and overwrite the existing ones - this is to allow update of the scripts themselves
