Vuze Forums

This seems to happen often, my torrent speeds will slow down only with Vuze, but I can launch any other application (utorrent, deluge, bittorrent) and the torrents will download just fine with normal speeds. I am maxing out around 1-5KB/s and on several torrents 50 or 100Bytes/s.

I have yet to figure out why this happens with Vuze, no ammount of setting adjustments seem to affect it. Suggestions?



ISP: MiNet Fiber (no throttling/shaping that I have seen)

SWT v4233, win32
Windows 7 v6.1, amd64
V5.4.0.0/4 az2

 

There have been a lot of users with similar complaints after upgrading to 5.4.0.0.  To the best of my knowledge no one has yet figured out the issue.

All I can tell you at this point is that I have not experience any such problem.  I do not know if this is because I am a Mac user or because I pretty much exclusively use private torrent sites.

I would just keep an eye out on all of the other threads there are several suggestions but as far as I can remember no one has tried all of the suggestions LOL

The bottom line here is that it seems there is something different with 5.4.0.0 and it has not been figure out yet!
