Hi
I am unable to select files that i want to download even after I deselected the files from the file list. At the end the file is downloaded onto my hard-drive. Is there a way to circumvent this problem?
Thanks
Monty

Read this:
https://wiki.vuze.com/w/Selective_downlo...te_and_DND
If that does not answer your question post back and someone might be able to clarify the issue!
So in other words, it is not possible to stop some files from downloading. Am I correct?
Thanks
Monty
If you mark files DND (Do not Download) the space will be allocated for those files on your HD but they will be empty and not usable.
If you mark files Delete . . . those files will not have space allocated to your hard drive and will not be seen on your hard drive.
So the direct answer to your question is yes and no depending upon how you do it.

Every torrent programs I have heard of does this. Everyone complains about this. I am at least 85% sure this is not a vuze specific problem.
Is the bittorrent Protocol, what changes is what each program deals with that, utorrent creates a .dat file that stores the data, BitComet creates a folder called "unwanted" and so on go.
