Full Version: Vuze update 5.6.1.2 issue: Won't save transfer speed settings

I just recently updated to Vuze 5.6.1.2. I immediately noticed that I can no longer save my transfer speed settings. I can go to Tools/Options/Transfer and set my global UL & DL speed as usual. Click Save. Close the Options window. Vuze may recognize my new settings for a few seconds, then defaults to the original "no limits" settings. It doesn't matter if I leave the Options window open, it never holds my changes.

It may not be a Vuze issue, maybe it's something I did during the install or some kind of settings on my PC. But I have changed nothing, other than installing the new version of Vuze. This makes Vuze unusable to me at times as Vuze will take up all of my bandwidth when uploading or downloading at maximum speeds.

Looking to find out if others have this issue or if it is just me. And then what to do next. Would love to downgrade to the previous version to see if it then goes back to "normal" for me. Or else figure out if this is a Vuze bug or some other type of issue for me.

I've been using Vuze forever and this is one of the only times I've had an issues, all past updates have given me no problems.

I even tried to "run Vuze as administrator" but this did nothing to help.

Thanks in advance for any input.
Check out Tools->Speed Limit Scheduler->View Current...

perhaps you have somehow activated a schedule that is resetting your speed limits?

Also check to see if the have the 'Speed Scheduler' plugin installed

Great suggestion, it was the Speed Scheduler plugin! Somehow became activated during install of new version. I shut it off and bingo, I'm back to normal.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!
