Vuze tries to pop up a update notification asking me to download the lastest version on ''beginer mode''. However if i switch to ''advanced mode'' vuze also tries to download the update file too. Can i disable vuze displaying the update notification and trying to download the update file. Can i also continue downloading torrents in ''advanced mode''. Because it seems all vuze does is just download the update file and ignores downloading all the torrents i want to download using it. Please fix all these issues please.
Its a good idea to keep to-to-date, why not just upgrade?
You can turn off auto-updates via Tools->Options->Interface->Start

there is no " start"option in the Interface tab to disactivate the automaatic updates requests. They are a pest: they pop up every so often. I don't need them. Vuze is fine as it is now. Any other suggestions?
Thanks

You might need to enabled advanced user mode to see that option?

I can't do it even in advanced mode . There is no " start" setting under the interface tab. I am on Vuze 5.7.0
I do not know what to tell you then. I see it just fine and I am running the same version as you are (5.7.0.0)
You are right, GaryE. I didn't see that there is a scroll-down menu under Interface and START is there. I have disabled the automatic updates option. I hope it works now..
Thanks
