Hi,

Ive posted a couple of times regarding a problem but have had zero response. Im sure it must be solvable..if not, then perhaps someone can reccoemnd an alterntaive to Vuze ( which I have been using hassle free for the last 5 or so years )

heres my initial question..

When I search, I get the following message come up

Page load failed with error: The request timed out.

Dont know why this happens..have searched this forum for previous discussion..Nothing...

thanks in advance.

something may be preventing the browser in Vuze from accessing http://client.vuze.com/
Thanks Parg for the pointer. Yes, that would make sense. I dont appear to have any browser functions appearing in the search screen within vuze. I have basically tried to reinstall, but it hasnt worked. I have also run a test available within vuze for the network connection and test shows this BUT, Its a bit technical. Do you know how I can fix it? I can paste here the test report if you think its OK..
I still cant find out what is preventing this. Would you or anyone have any idea?
Even doing a reset doesnt work...any ideas much appreciated in helping me solve this problem.
I am having the exact same message. Have you ever figured this problem out?

Hey guys,

I don't know if you tried this already, but have you considered checking with your firewall(s) if it's intervening?
