Hi,
For a private tracker, I've been asked to disable the following in uTorrent:
- DHT
- PEX
- Local peer discovery
- uTP bandwidth management
- uPNP
- NAT-PMP

Can you please tell me what are the equivalent options in Vuze ?
Do you see any additional Vuze configuration needed to keep the tracker private ?

I've read somewhere that DHT & PEX would be automatically blocked if a private bit is put on the tracker / torrent file, but this relies on the tracker manager not doing any mistake. It would be much better to be able to configure it as an option in Vuze.
Vuze will automatically disable DHT, PEX and Local peer discovery on private torrents. You can disable these yourself via

Tools->Options->Plugins->Distributed DB
Tools->Options->Conenection: Default peer sources (PEX=Supplied by another peer)
Tools->Options->Plugins->LAN Peer Finder
Not sure what uTP bandwidth management is, unless it means the uTP protocol itself, in which case Tools->Options->Pugins->uTP
Tools->Options->Plugins->UPnP and the sub-item NAT-PMP
