I have a Sony Bravia Bluray and and have been enjoying watching my vuze content for a couple of years. Recently the media server icon is greyed out on my bluray and won't connect. It used to do that when the Vuze was off or computer was off and all I had to do was turn it on. But now after reset and powering on and off it still does not see the media server?
Have you changed your network configuration recently? A new router/cable modem, wireless/lan setup?
For Vuze and your device to be able to 'see' each other they need to be on the same network segment.

I have this same problem with my Blu-ray. I recently set up PIA with Vuze plugin. I did not set up proxy.

Try going to the options (Tools->Options), navigating to Plugins->Media Server and then unchecking the 'Apply interface bindings from Viuze' option
Yes, I also added PIA and have a new cable modem but the server stopped working after the PIA.
I tried the changing the option listed above and still does not see the server.
