Hi,
I'm running Vuze 5.7.4.1_B09 with IPVanish using SOCKS5 VPN Proxy. As of yesterday each time I try to download anything from Extratorrent I get the following message in the
Operation In Progress popup window.
Downloading: .torrent
Failed
Details
Downloading From :http://extratorrent.cc/download/5353563/
Error : Failed to download 'http://extratorrent.cc/download/5353563/' to '5353563': Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL: http://extratorrent.cc/download/5353563/
I only get this problem with downloads from Extratorrent, no other sites. All the other sites work fine. And the problem only started yesterday morning (AESDT).
In trying to reslove the problem I upgraded to this current stable beta version of Vuze and I have tried setting the SOCKS username and pasword several times.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problems or does anyone have any ideas.
Regards.
Probably CloudFlare DDOS protection - when they enable this you need to access the website with a regular web browser
Exact same issue I'm having. Going to ExtraTorrent's site to get the torrent file direct works, but even with Avast and AdBlock Plus their site is a rat's nest of pop-ups.

Ok. Got it working. As said go to the Extratorrent website via whatever browser, select your download. Not sure, but I think as long as you have vuze open, mine automatically goes to the Vuze page and downloads no problem. Just takes an extra step or two.

Hi. When you do a search, and vuze lists the choices, click on "details" on the file you want. That will bring you to the file site, where you can then find a download box. When it asks you where you want to download it, select vuze, or have your settings on default to vuz.
