With this latest version, or so it seems to have started with this version, I'm getting .tmp file suffixes downloaded instead of .torrent. I can change the first to the second easily enough, but why might this be happening?  Thanks,

I sometimes have that occurring and for me and it relates to my client being too busy with data and peer communication traffic.  next time it happens, pause your torrent activity and try the torrent download again.
