I specifically clicked that customized box FOR A REASON !!! Now I got this crap I have to take out again.
Vuze please stop this I love you but cannot deal with this crap that you put into my computer when I specifically
clicked the box for it NOT TO DO IT.
Please advise.

Well when I last installed in order to upgrade to 5.4.0.0 and used custom install it worked for me. Even when you use custom install . . . I think you still have to manually deselect the add-ons . . . but I am not certain. Did you do that? Or did you just choose custom install and mash the ok button? What OS are you using? What version of that OS?
I assume you are talking about when you upgraded to the latest version (5.4.0.0) but you did not say specifically. It might make a difference. What version were you uploading from?
Changing your home page is pretty trivial. It does vary depending on browser and OS. So depending upon your browser and OS I might be able to help. But without knowing the browser and OS I can only give you general steps.
Open your browser
Open the preferences/settings
Find the tab/section where you see something like the words startup options.
Under startup options enter the name of the home page you want. Or if you want a blank page some browsers have a check box or pull down menu to open with a blank page.
Again the exact steps will vary depending upon OS and Browser perhaps it will vary depening upon the version of the OS and the version of the browser you are using as well. So if those general steps do not help you . . . give us some more information and maybe I or someone else can help.

You read as though you knew what you were doing, so I offer the following as an alternative experience to your own, in case you thought you declined the offers, but perhaps a "glitch" occurred. (I've experienced a similar occurrence with other installs/upgrades, but then again, I was probably "very happy" )
MY RECENT INSTALL: (x64)
I rejected the initial auto-update from 5.3 to 5.4 as it wasn't convenient at the time. Two days later when I did a general update of all my installed apps, I invoked the "check for updates" protocol and the returned dialogue was "there are no new updates available", (not enough years left in my life to try to figure that one out) so I backed-up my Vuze config and did an unistall and reinstall with v.5.4.0.0. As with yourself, I also did a cutomised install and no homepages were changed on IE (default), Chrome or Firefox. (I have specific needs for the use of all three).

Hi Kim,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Like GaryE said, after you select the "Custom" install in the following steps you must uncheck the offers check boxes.
If you need any assistance for removing the offers or restore your browser settings please feel free to contact our support service here:
