The 'internal browser' gets disabled automatically if Vuze is experiencing crashes in that component (which is Internet Explorer)

The exact cause of this has never been determined but it is assumed to be something to do with extensions installed into your IE.

Advice is to search for torrents by using your browser directly to avoid crashes, however if you want to try re-enabling it then go to

Tools->Options->Mode: select 'advanced'
Tools->Options->Interface->Display: Internal Browser - deselect 'disable all use of internal browser'

in my version of Vuze when I go to the settings shown above there is no "display" showing in the interface so I cannot make any changes for the internal browser....ie: there is no display showing in the interface
I hope you know what I mean....I was using Vuze for years and lately have not been able to use it any more....nothing happens when I search for something

The left panel of the options is a tree widget - you need to expand the Interface tree node to see the Display node below it

ok...great I have found it....this would be helpful information that should have been in the original post describing the steps to disable the use of the internal browser....I didn't find the info through the "help" feature within Vuze either....
thanks very much...it is working as usual now
