This is really annoying. I ran Spybot Search & Destroy and the problem persists. Anybody know how to get rid of it?

I have been having the same issue and only when I am using Vuze. I believe I fixed it. So far it has not popped back up.  I went to control panel and clicked on Internet options .  Internet Properties pops up..click on privacy and then sites. Under Address of website type Mono.Vizu.com and then click on Block.  (Mono.Vizu.com) is the website it is coming from.   It blocked it and it has not popped back up.

~~I had the same problem and I think I fixed it a different way.  First I went to Control panel and then "Programs" and uninstalled any program I didn't recognize.  There was only one (sorry I don't remember the name).  Then I opened CC Cleaner (a free cleaner program that you can download) and cleaned out everything including my registry.  Since then I haven't had the pop up.  Of the two steps I think it was probably CC Cleaner that solved the problem but I can't be sure. Hope this works for someone else.  Please post back and let me know. Vanman

It seems to me that the popup happens every time Vuze changes the advert.   Possibly the offending advert is a cold remedy one that seems to be the only ad that is being displayed currently in my case.

I have found by trying to turn off the ads and refusing to upgrade, the problem goes away temporarily as adverts fail to reappear.  Rebooting starts the process all over again.

It is clear that the malware has not installed itself on my computer and it is not affecting my browsers in any way.

I think it would behoove Vuze developers to fix this problem themselves rather than have others find ad hoc solutions, as eventually people will just find another client as the least painful solution.

I didn't have any new programs showing that I didn't know about and I ran CCE (which I run weekly), came up with some issues, cleaned the issues but still having problems.  If I block the connection in the control panel I then get my setting won't allow the download, I've even tired blocking through the firewall but still have the issue.  Frankly if Vuze doesn't respond to this issue I will be looking for a new torrent client!

Hi, the reason for subscribing is to say I'm also receiving this annoying pop up..
What should we do?
