Hi all,
hopeing someone can help.
I mistakenly created a big torrent file using Vuze with around 100 movies. The torrent file finished and it looked to have created it okay.
Now I cant use the video files that the torrent was made from.
Also, the files were removed from my 2TB WD Passport and transferred onto my laptop HDD - the files seem okay, but for the fact I cant play them.
The problem is when I open with file with Windown Media player it displays the following:
"Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file."
and it simply doesnt start playing when I use VLC media player.
All programs are up to date and worked previously to me creating the torrent file.
Also worth noting is when I right click and go to properties the files are read only - I have unchecked that and hit 'apply' but that hasnt worked either.
Any suggestions?
