opening a Vuze file

Since downloading Windows updates this morning I can no longer open a newly downloaded Vuze file. I get a message from Windows Media leaving me no choice but to make it a default program (despite having selected Vuze as my default video option). I like Vuze and would prefer to have things "as they were". If however, I agree to make Windows Media a default program; will it open my Vuze downloads?

I'm not really computer "savvy", so any suggestions would be welcome.
