is there no routing status icon on linux version of vuze?
#1
Dear Vuze team
I use vuze on linux (mint 17.1) vuze version 4.3.0.6.
On windows there is a little icon on the lowest status bar in vuze showing when routing through my vpn is active. Is there no such icon on the linux version? It is very nice to have i think!

best regards
Vuze user

Should be there - have you set up the bind address under Tools->Options->Connection->Advanced Network Settings ?

I don't have a mint install to test with, but it is fine with Ubuntu - there is a checkbox under Tools->Options->Connection->Advanced Network Settings that controls whether or not the status-bar icon is shown, but it defaults to 'selected' so you would need to have manually changed that for it to be the cause.

ooo, hang on, you said 4.3.0.6...

yah, that's very old - you would need to update things

Unfortunately the packaged versions aren't well maintained, you'd need to try manually installing from the linux .tar linked from
