What can be the reason for the failure?

Hmm, might be something to do with the fact that you're running an early version of Java 1.9? I'll pass the problem on to the installer people - thanks

When will I possibly hear from the experts? I CANNOT install it.

Java 1.9 does exist?

Not really, I had java 7 update 67 and java 9.
Now I looked up in google 1.9.2 and installed it, and VUZE INSTALLS! Thank you.
Can anyone explain me why java 1.9.2 turns out after installation as java 8 update 64?

Java 1.9 does exist as an early access release:

https://jdk9.java.net/download/

Vuze seems to run OK on it although (this) one user reported an issue with the installer on it (so far!)

install4j uses one of the two API methods that will be removed in Java 9 because of the modularization effort.

This will be fixed in install4j 6.
