how to fix: not downloaded filse still persist and downloaded partly

Hi, I having an issue when i try to download only spesific file from torrent that having many files/folder. I deselect the files, and only select the one i want to download, but somehow, the deselected files is also downloaded, some is fully download, some is partially downloaded/broken file. How to fix this issue? is there a way to do this?
