help for newbie

hi
i'm new vuze and I have 2 problems

1. when I open vuze i get this error message



where do I go in the options to fix it?

2. when I open a torrent in explorer/firefox, there not a problem but if I open another one when vuze is open it open a new "version " of vuze. can I set this up so that does not occur.

Welcome to Forum, Seagull 52!

1- Change your listening port or randomize it at Options>connection.  Socket 6880 is a very common port for many other programs to use.

2- Try going to Options>File and change the drop down menu to never again under When opening a torrent show dialogue.  I am assuming that you are not opening a totally new instance of Vuze when adding a torrent, just a dialogue window.  Vuze is not designed to run multiple instances of the program simultaneously and usually will not allow it.
