downloading movies

There's a company that is disguising itself as a torrent, but really it wants you to down load it's products and not a movie at all. One of the products is 7zip they are all bogess. They are of the type of add ons that ttry and  rope you in with a free trial and then hit you up with a yearly subscription. They say when you download your movie and try to plaay, it  oautomatically starts to download the products. There are about seven different ones the download says that you can skip, but then you will not get the movie.You will not get the movie anyway just a bunch of useless stuff that you will have to unistall. Well, anyway, has anyone else come upon this malady, and if so how can we warn folfs when they try download movies. The description looks different
