downloaded amount bug?
#1
I have a 28.74GB download that Vuze shows 25.78GB is "Downloaded" in the "Downloaded" column.  The Done column shows 9.3% and the graph shows a small percentage done (probably 9.3%) in the details.  Other item to note is next to the 25.78GB on the General tab, shows (1.14 MB discarded) which doesn't obviously equate to much. Thoughts?
Thanks. JR

Have you tried right-clicking on the file and selecting 'force recheck' (the yellow icon)? Might need to set mode to Advanced under Tools->Options->Mode if not already done

Thanks for the reply.  Advanced checked but can't find the option.  When I right click on the file I get

Show Details
Show Download Bar
Download Speed Limit
Upload Speed Limit
Tracker/Torrent
pause For...
Peers Sources
Enable IP Filter
Networks
Advanced
Rename Displayed Name

Have some buttons at the top but are Start, Force Start, Pause, Stop , Delete.  What looks like a refresh two arrows chasing each other, is greyed out.

Thanks.

JR

EDIT:  Do you have to stop the tracker or pause it to recheck?  I have on eactive torrent that is however Queued and the option to recheck is enabled.

Ah, yes, the download has to be in a stopped state to enable the 'recheck'. Do you think you actually downloaded the 25GB of data or does the 9.3% make more sense? The 'recheck' will ascertain how much valid data you have actually downloaded and update the stats accordingly.

I think the 9.3% makes more sense.  I'm going to stop it and hope whatever caused it to not continue before doesn't come up again.  Last time I exited the app running as a service (right now running the gui on the desktop), next time I started said access denied to resume the torrent.

rechecked but no joy.  not sure what its doing.  i have one torrent that shows 40gb downloaded  when the torrent is only 30gb.  the one previously mentioned i think its showing how much is left to download and not what was downloaded, but that would meanthe others are reporting other things for that value.
