Zero Download Speed/Full Upload Speed, Red Smiley Faces with a Few Green Faces
#1
Hi all,

I've been hit with a very peculiar problem for the past week. I've tried a few solutions/workarounds, but it didn't help; hence I'm trying my luck here.

Basically my Vuze is turned into a power-seeder - it does nothing but upload. Good for my UL/DL ratio, but this is getting ridiculous. A few green faces among a sea of red faces (see pic). The last three are the new torrents; the ones above are dead torrents with incomplete seeds. For the three new torrents, I have checked the torrent health before downloading the torrent file, so it should be healthy.

Some points:
  1. I use HMA! VPN
  2. I ran the NAT/Firewall test, and everything is ok.
  3. I also ran the Network Status test, and the log is as below

Any ideas? Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a similar problem that came on somewhere around April. I used Azureur for years but I felt like I was banging my head on the wall. I even called my ISP accusing them of throtaling the bandwidth I pay for. I finally switched to qBittorrent and my download speed and cpu usage improved dramatically. My download speeds went from 30kbs to 3mbs. I can even do other things when using qBittorrent because it uses less memory and cpu. I still like the looks of Vuze but when pretty doesn't work it has to go.
