Windows 7 very slow while downloading
#1
Frog
Hi everyone
Currently using [Java 1.8.0_66 (64 bit) -  Oracle Corporation - SWT v4508, win32 - Windows 7 v6.1 - V5.7.1.0/4 az3] on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
Have noted ony yesterday that sometimes (it seems to be completely random) when downloading 1 or more torrents, it makes the entire windows system very slow to respond.
This includes the mouse moving slowly across the screen and windows closing/opening so that you can watch them shrink down rather than instantly minimizing.

My save directory is on a different hard drive than windows and the installation folder for vuze is on a seperate hard drive again.
My default connections per torrent is currently at: 288, my heap memory sizes are blank (at fault) and size of cache in MB is 4.
Have also attached the debug file from Vuze.

Please let me know if there is anyone more information I can provide to help.

If there anything I have set up wrong or digits I should adjust?
Let me know and many thanks for any assistance anyone can offer.

Hi,

I have the same issue on Windows 10 and Vuze 5.7.1.0 (both 64 bit).  The mouse is the worst and the whole (quite powerful) computer is unusable while Vuze is downloading.  Not sure it recovers and I power off my computer after it looks like downloads have completed.
