Why does vuze re-download a file when?
#1
Question
Hi,

A recently downloaded file I deselected the contents of one folder not to download.  The completed download finished minus the files I didnt want.  Perfect.

But when I deleted the folder from the files it popped back up in vuze like it was attempting re-download again and said "ERROR Data file missing" ?

Why is that?

Thanks

Thanks but thats a little confusing for me.. I am talking about deleting the folders with no files inside off my computer not even isnide vuze?  Is this still normal?  To stop it from re-downloading do i need to remove from vuze library first?

Right, as long as you have it within Vuze and active, Vuze will attempt to maintain the integrity of the files (for seeding purposes) and, if things 'go missing', it will worry.

I see.. Is this same reason then when file finishes downloading and i move the folder from download folder to my media folder?  Sometimes i see folder back in vuze downloads but only has some files not all?

Yes that is why that happens . . . if you move files after completion . . you should move them from within Vuze to avoid that problem.
