Where can I find Vuze 5.5 installer for linux ?

Hi,
I need to install the latest Vuze client (5.5) on Linux (Ubuntu 9.10). The sourceforge files location only hosts the tar file for Mac installation (with DMG extension).

Where can I find the tar file for linux installation ?

Its the .bz2 one  - Vuze_5500_linux.tar.bz2

But when you download this file it is actually saved with the .dmg extension at the end - meaning its meant for Mac.
I'd be happy if I can get the linux archive (that is .gzip, .tar or .bz2 extensions)

bah, Sourceforge are doing some strange things....

Remove the .DMG extension and proceed as usual...

Well strange it is! I tried to download and rename, but what gets downloaded is a 445 kB .DMG file. Not the 24 MB file as advertised.

Tried from both Chrome and Firefox.

Wonder why this never got reported before.
Hope you can rectify this soon.

Edit: I think I found the reason and was able to download the 24MB .bz2 file.
There's a direct download link on / off setting. U need to set it to ON.

GAH, sorry - I'll raise a bug with SourceForge. Unfortunately they have taken to wrapping our installer with one of their own recently

So how did complaining to sourceforge about wrapping all files (even linux and mac installers) with windows junkware stubs go? Also, any chance of allowing windows users to opt out of "this is additional software, not vuze" --- 3 to 7 step install only(?) install vuze process. As in an "I've opted out and only want vuze itself" prior to the download of the installer? Fill out capchas, watch 30 minute advertisement? Something else?
