When I try to install Vuze, the setup keeps getting stuck at the "Please wait. Loading the Vuze installer. Preparing to install" screen. Any suggestions on what the problem might be?
I'm having the same problem. Wated to update to version 5.4 and the same thing happened. I then deleted Vuze and ttry to use a fresh install, but it still doesn't work. However I can install Vuze Leap, but I'd rather use the normal client.

Same problem here. Fresh install in windows 7 - 64bit , after format (vuze ver. 5.4.0.0) . Reinstall again and again , tried installers from other sites , nothing seems to work.
Do you get a log file in the same directory of the installer? If there is, it might be helpful!
You can also try installing with the "-q" command line parameter, which should install without any prompts. Vuze should launch at the very end of the install.

I don't get any log file . Also can you post how to install vuze with the "-q" command line parameter ? (some ppl dont have that knowledge )
Since nobody helping let me try
Run VuzeBittorrentClientInstaller.exe
When it get to the "I Agree" stage stop and go to the folder %TEMP%\VuzeInstall\ and copy VuzeInstaller.exe from it to your desktop, close the install
open cmd and drag the file VuzeInstaller.exe to it then add -q to the line and execute
It will install silently for a minute and open Vuze at the end.

Hey there, i tried doing this but it didnt work for me. I did find the VuzeInstaller.exe like you mentioned. When I then drag it from the desktop to the cmd, it gives the line with the location of the installer ending at ".exe". However when i add -q to it, it says: "Not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file". I also tried adding \q but that doesnt work either. Anything else i can do to fix it? still doesnt work!

Thanks in advance :D
Add a space between the filename and the -q for example:
Code:
%UserProfile%\Desktop\VuzeInstaller.exe -q
You can also instead create a shortcut to the file, right click the shortcut > Properties and add to the end of the Target " -q" (without the quotes) and run it
