Vuze will not open on my computer

Hello, I have been using Vuze or a long time with no issue. Suddenly yesterday I tried to open it and it would not open at all. I click on the icon and the mouse does the loading picture and nothing happens, I have tried to open it from the shortcut on my desktop, in my shortcuts list, even from my list of programs in my start menu (I have windows 8.1). I have not made any changes or updates to my computer that I am aware of. I have tried to uninstal and reinstal Vuze but it still will not open.

Please help
