Vuze not starting after crash
#1
Frog
Okay, I have tried to surf the web to find a solution, but to no avail.

I have an iMac running Yosemite 10.10 and have used Vuze for years.
Yesterday morning (Saturday Nov 6th) I had a power outage and after turning the computer back on everything ran fine. I hadn't Vuze running before the outage and didn't start it up after rebooting the computer.
A notification came up for a Java update (1.8.111) and I installed it. Later in the day I ran Vuze to start a download  and it bounced twice and stopped. The window didn't open and the I couldn't click on the icon in my dock. Whilst right-clicking is said 'Application is not responding'. So I forced quit Vuze. Tried again and again, but no luck.
Looked here in the forums, googled around: Uninstalled Vuze, re-installed - no luck. Got rid of the newest Java and revert to my previous one - no luck. Uninstalled Java and reverted to the Apple version - no luck. No matter what I tried; it just won't load up anymore. I'm beyond ideas at this stage.

Can anybody give my any help or ideas? I don't like Vuze Leap, since it is so limited. I preffer to be able to use Vuze again.
Thanks in advance.

Approximately that same thing happened for me a couple of days ago. Vuze starts and then gets stuck with "Application Not Responding" status.

Tried re-installing two different versions and no change.
