Vuze downloads in external hd

Hi everyone and thanks to let me join the forum. Why Vuze doesn't allow me to locate the downloads in an external hd? Altough I created a new downloads position, Vuze continues to download on the pc...please help me

the obvious thing to ask you is, have you checked out the Vuze settings guide which can viewed HERE.

After you changed the default download location in Vuze Options > Files, did you click the SAVE buton in the bottom L.H. corner of the options page?
