Vuze Will NOT Even Open After Clean Restart

I have been trying to get my Vuze to open for about 1 1/2 months - since 5.0 came in and I was on Java 7 51. My laptop is on Win 7 OS. I had Vuze for about 4 to 5 years and this the first time I've had so much trouble. It only worked for six months this time & now it doesn't work at all. I had Java 8 25 but turned it off after I got Java 7 75 put back on this morning.

I found out today from Java that most who were on Java 7 in January 2015, were automatically advanced to Java 8 because Java 7 will be archived.

But anyway, I tried a clean restart of Vuze, & the same thing happened again. It sort of pushed itself to try to come up, stopped, my screen went into a sort of double safe mode configuration, then it was gone -and everything went back to normal screen mode. I've done this once [the clean restart], and many times [the Vuze launcher to open].

Please Help!

So do you start to see the usual Vuze interface and then it dies? If so can you look in your %temp% directory to see if there are any crash logs there? They have names starting with

hs_errpid

No, the Vuze Launcher just keeps trying to bring it up, as if it were new. I cannot get to
the crash logs - as I don't know where they are located.

I'm going to try to reinstall Vuze one last time, and see if I can't get it to open.
