Vuze NAT Test Failed
#1
When I run the Vuze NAT test I get the following message:
Quote:Testing port TCP 49162 ...
Unable to test: Invalid port given, or test service failed.
Another application may already be using this port..
(Error: Unexpected end of file from server).

I'm seem to be able to upload and download, but I never pass the Vuze NAT/Firewall test and most of my Health icons are yellow

Do I really have a NAT problem? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Any help is appreciated!

  • Antivirus software + version: Norton Internet Security v22.20.1.69
  • Firewall software + version: Norton Internet Security v22.20.1.69
  • Internet Service Provider and following information (if problem seems to be with connections): Comcast, 500Mbps download, 20Mbps upload
  • Using a Router and/or modem with Network Address Translation? Yes: Router Model Asus RT-AC66U
    • Forwarding port 49162 to the static IP address of my computer for both TCP and UDP
    • Forwarding port 49001 to the static IP address of my computer for UDP only
  • Using a Wireless Connection? No, ethernet cable 1 Gbps connection
  • Do the Health status on your torrents have Green smilies? Mostly Yellow smilies, a few green
  • I'm using Private Internet Access for my VPN
Other troubleshooting steps:
  • I ran a netstat -a to confirm the port isn't in use
  • canyouseeme.org can't see the "service", reason: connection refused
  • I have turned off UPNP on my router. It didn't seem to matter whether UPNP was on or off on my router
  • I get the same error if I turn of Norton firewall and Auto-protect
  • Norton has a rule to allow Vuze (Azereus.exe) to communicate on any protocol, in or out, to/from any computer
