Vuze Leap crashing randomly but consistently
#1
Vuze leap has been crashing for weeks if not months now. It works perfectly fine and then, out of the blue it crashes with C++ error. And it's doing this every few 10 minutes...

Event Viewer says this:
Faulting application name: VuzeLeap.exe, version: 1.3.0.1, time stamp: 0x54d8df08
Faulting module name: VuzeLeap.exe, version: 1.3.0.1, time stamp: 0x54d8df08
Exception code: 0x40000015
Fault offset: 0x00048057

Exception code and offset are ALWAYS the same for every single crash. What the hell is going on? I have every single C++ runtime installed and updated since I know not having them causes problems. But Leap is still crashing. It did this in Windows 8.1 Update 1 64bit and it's doing the same thing in Windows 10 64bit now.

I've tried few other Bittorrent clients and they all absolutely reek. Only one that is good is Vuze leap and it's bloody crashing so I can't download anyting right. Can we please fix this fast?

Anyone? I can't use the damn thing since it's crashing every few minutes, making impossible to download anything bigger...

I have no idea.  I have never used Leap.  I know that with regular Vuze that once you hit roughly 500 torrents you need to increase memory issues or it will crash.  So sometimes when a user has upgraded to a new version of Vuze (which over-writes the current configuration) they have to increase the amount of memory again.  But I do not think that is the problem in your case.  If you are running a bunch of torrents that could be the problem.  I am not sure how to increase memory in Leap but I am sure there is a wiki article about it or something.

There are issues with running the 64 bit Version of Vuze and the 32 bit version of Java but I do not really try to understand the details of that because it is limited to Windows users and I am a Mac user so I can not give you details but there have been posts about that in these forums in the last 3 or 4 weeks or less you can try looking for those and see if that is a problem for you.

Good Luck!
