Vuze Leap crashes when opening a damaged torrent file

When I open a mp3s torrent file that appears to be damaged from the Open Torrent -> From File, Vuze Leap crashes immediately opening the Windows dialog box to send error report.

Info:
Windows Vista SP2 32-bits
Vuze Leap 2.1.0.1

Another non-Vuze program throws "Error parsing meta-file".
