Vuze Categories / Tags all mixed up ! Downloading / New and Library
#1
Hello.
With the new Vuze update,  it seems that when I select the "new" category / tag in the sidebar [as in: "newly downloaded items"]  in order to display my newly downloaded items in the main UI box ,  all of the currently downloading items and incomplete items are also displayed in the main box as well.

I have gone right through my preferences and settings, but I cannot find any settings to change it back the way it was.
I believe Vuze has been like this since the last update.

This is annoying to me as I often use the "new" / completed torrents tag / box to sort out  which items I have thoroughly seeded, in order to manage my files and disk space.
This is many times  more difficult now,  with incomplete torrents mixed in with completed torrents.

Thanks for any assistance.

Hmm, looks OK to me - what does the 'complete on' column say for the ones that you haven't completed?

Hi Parg. Thanks very much for your response. In the "Completed on" column , there is literally no words / information for the torrents which are not complete.

However, for the ones that are complete, it displays the dates those were completed , as expected.

Just a guess, but is it possible that the ones that are showing as complete have 'do not download files' and in fact they are complete as far as the current 'do not download' files are concerned?

No, unfortunately that is not the case.
I almost never select only a few files in a torrent. I cannot remember the last time I have been selective with files in a torrent.
I always download all the contents of virtually every torrent I download.

[although I did just check, based on "just in case" of some strange reason, certain files were not selected....].

Thanks. Any other ideas much appreciated.

I've discovered something interesting, which might apply to your situation. There's two view modes for the tables, "Big" and "Small" which are right beside all the stop/start buttons on the toolbar. When viewing the "New" category, in "Big" mode, I see both complete and incomplete torrents. In "Small" mode I only see completed torrents!

I think there's a bug in "Big" mode. Try switching to "Small" mode. I'll see if I can fix Big mode after 5.6.2.0 release.

Hi ArronM  .
Thanks very much for your reply ! I'm sorry, I think I missed seeing your reply until now somehow.
I have tried these buttons , and it appears you are right !

In the small view mode [which I never normally use] , there are no "incomplete" or partially downloaded files in my new category, but in the "large" view mode, it is filled with all my incomplete D/Ls, and very confusing to manage.

Very strange indeed ! I do prefer the large text version, but it's a LOT more difficult to manage and sort through with all the incompletes mixed in there.

I hope it is a vuze bug, and not specific to a mistake I've made.  Thanks again for your help.
