Using VPN Unlimited
#1
Hello experts
Using Vuze without VPN Unlimited, everything works fine, without any tinkering with the firewall or portforwarding settings in my wifi modem/router.
When I turn VPN on, the address binding works fine but then a NAT problem comes in, even though there is no change in my modem/router setting.
VPN unlimited does not encourage torrenting but it does not seem to block it.
Quote:
Do you allow the use of torrents and file-sharing traffic on all of your VPN Unlimited servers?
The primary goal of VPN Unlimited is not to download torrents, but to offer online security. There are limited cases, when our technical team had to decrease the connection speed because of the torrenting. VPN Unlimited is not oriented to be used widely for torrenting and file-sharing purposes only, but we believe that your online 100% guaranteed safety is our top priority and our customers’ top priority as well.

As a mater of fact, the test message states that "my computer" refused to connect.
I've port forwarded 6881 in my modem/router to no avail.
Anyone with an idea ?
Thanks

I have the same NAT problem. I can't figure it out. Checked my port forwarding, added the DNS server, removed the proxy settings, removed the OS FW, added the exclusion from the soft FW... I get regular internet traffic but no torrent client traffic. I'm very stumped.

Did you ever get this working?

This post seems to be old but I can't find anything that resolve VPN Unlimited.
I can download using PIA VPN installed on the laptop without any issue.
Decided to purchased lifetime VPN Unlimited and installed the VPN directly onto the router rather than PIA installed
on the laptop.
Now with the suggested configuration at the Option, I can see Routing icon at the bottom is green but can't download anything. If I turn off the VPN on the router, everything all good again.
I configured the bind to local IP address to eth0 (TAP-Windows Adaper V9)
I already tried to set a specific port to Vuze (i.e. 55555), port forwarding in my rouer 55555 as well and nothing!!!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
