Unable to download torrents from private tracker

Hi, I'm a UTorrent refugee.  New to Vuze for about two weeks.  Everything is fine except for some reason the torrents I download from a private tracker won't start.  In Vuze the torrent lists no seeds or peers, even though on the private tracker the torrent is listed as having plenty of seeds and peers.

Are there any error messages shown against the tracker in the 'sources' tab for the download? Some private trackers have a whitelist of torrent clients - perhaps Vuze, or the most recent Vuze version, isn't enabled?
