Unable to download

I suddenly can not download anything.  Whenever I try to download I receive a "Failed" notice and the Details read: "sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target".  I'm not using a VPN.  My computer is an iMac, I'm using Vuze Plus, and I have close to 60 mps of download speed.  What is going on and how can I fix it?  Any help will be most appreciated.

Hello, I am now getting the same errors since my most recent update for Mac on El Capitan 10.11.5

Hello, I too am having problems downloading and get this message no matter what i try and download.

I down loaded the update yesterday and get exactly the same error message
