Torrent won't download. Queued
#1
Frog
Hello,
I recently updated to the lastest version of Vuze, now when I search and go to download a torrent it just stays queued and won't download. I have a good internet connection and have not played with any settings. Have never had this problem before. Can someone please help. I'm at my wits end here.

Thanks Jamie :)

Have you checked out http://wiki.vuze.com/w/Torrents_queued ?

Hi, yes. Have read all that and have been into options - queued. Still nothing is working

I guess you could right-click on the torrent and from the pop-up menu choose "Force start"

That will cause the torrent to ignore any/all of the automatic queuing options.

It would be better if we could figure out what is causing the torrent to be queued but as a stop gap . . . force start should work.

I'm having the same problem. I just updated vuze and now nothing will download. Plenty of seeds and every single download goes to the infinity symbol when I click it. Forced downloading does nothing. Everything worked fine before this update and now nothing works. Incredibly frustrating.

Under status for you leeching torrents what do you see?

Do you see queued?
Do you see forced downloading (after choosing forced start from the right click menu)?
Or what?

How about under "tracker status" what do you see there?

I also have this problem. Torrents show seeds and peers but have infinity symbols. Via Little Snitch, I can see that some small amount of data goes out and is uploaded (though very slow) but extremely little to nothing comes in. Very frustrating. I also just updated. This happens with or without the VPN.

Have a look at http://wiki.vuze.com/w/Download_Stuck - it might shed some light on why things aren't transferring.

I had the same issue too. It has to be something that changed in version 5.4 for the mac. Once i updated everything stopped working stuck in endless que. Even those partly downloaded from previous veron were stuck. I did not change anysettings from the pervious version actually keep the same settings for the past couple years no issue. Updated to version 5.4 then the program stopped working. I deleted version 5.4 and reinstalled version 5.3 and everything worked again. I think it might be a bug or glitch in the 5.4 version for Mac.
