Torrent display lines corrupted- Vuze 5.6.0.1 and 5.5.0.0
#1
Hi,
The My Torrents display get corrupted when I scroll down or up a page at a time.  The corruption is different depending on where the separator bar is between the downloading and seeding torrents.  This happens both with Vuze 5.6.0.1_B03 and 5.5.0.0.  I wasn't getting it with Vuze 4.9.0.0, which I had been using previously.

For example, here is what it looks like after scrolling down one screenful.  The #1 torrent (Eastenders) gets left on the screen.

Below shows a different corruption after scrolling up 2 screenfuls and then scrolling down a couple of lines:

I'm running WINXP-SP3 with Java JRE 7_75.  Here is "About Vuze" output:
Java 1.7.0_75
 Oracle Corporation
SWT v4233, win32
Windows XP v5.1, x86
V5.5.0.0/4 az2

hmm, Vuze 5.6 should be shipping with SWT v4508, but you have v4233.  Perhaps check for updates to see if a new SWT update is waiting for you (or run the 5.6 installer).

I tried on a WinXP VM with 5.6 and couldn't reproduce any scrolling problems.  Are you using page up/page down keys to scroll, or the mouse + scrollbar?

Hi,

I uninstalled 5.5.0.0, rebooted, and then installed Vuze 5.6.0.0 and rebooted, even though Vuze doesn't ask for reboots.  I then showed SWT v4508 (!) (don't know why it changed except for my reboots).  So I now have:
Java 1.7.0_75
Oracle Corporation
SWT v4508, win32
Windows XP v5.1, x86
V5.6.0.0/4 az2

But I still get the messed up lines "if" I have the separation bar at certain locations.  I'm scrolling with either the page up/down keys or my mouse scroll wheel - it doesn't matter which.
If I put the separation bar (between the downloading and seeding torrents) in a certain position, I can make the problem almost completely not be visable.
Initially, when I had it in one position, it was really annoying because I couldn't see the torrent
line for the n+1 th torrent, if, say, it was displaying n torrent lines.  I would then have to backscroll it a couple of lines to see it.
Did you try placing that separation bar in different locations ?

I just thought other people would be seeing this if I was.  I'm now puzzled why I do and others haven't reported this.  I'm not trying to be picky about this, since I know there are more important bugs.  I was just wondering if it was an inherant bug for all versions 5.5 and above or something wrong with my Vuze/Java combination.
I have "closeable tabs" and "fancy tabs" turned on, if that matters

As I said, I never got it with 4.9.0.0 at all and I had been running that for more than a year.

UPDATE-15 March -  The scrolling corruption is not present in Vuze 5.0.0.0.

I'm sorry for topic starter, but I'm have sort of similar UI problem, can I voice it?

It very inconveniently, - actually periodical in seconds UI lockdowns, UI just starts unresponsible.

Paul, hi! Can you please reproduce this problem and provide any solution? Or maybe that problem is common, and easily solves?

Funny, I reinstalled yesterday a windows, and now UI problem truely disappeared, cursor is now not wheeling with UI deadlook, looks like sort of corrupted settings of windows, registry, java or even azureus, or somewhat else.
