TCP and UDP ports keep resetting
#1
Question
Hi folks,

I have a problem with my Vuze client that has me stumped so I'm hoping someone has experienced this before and knows how to fix it.

Basically for some reason whenever I change the Incoming TCP listen port and UDP listen port numbers they change back to 21638 after about 2 minutes and I don't know why. Has anyone seen this before?

I am using client version 5.7.4.0 on Windows Server 2012R2 and connecting through PIA as my VPN.

Kind Regards,

DGB

Do you have the VPN Helper plugin installed? It will change the port to the one PIA opens. You can disable the port changing by going to the VPN Helper's config (or uninstalling the VPN Helper plugin)

Thanks ArronM. I found the other thread relating to this issue about a minute after I posted. I swear I searched the forums but obviously not well enough.

I have disabled VPN Helper and that stopped the port changing.

Thanks for your reply.
