Swarm Merging VS. Multiple torrents accessing shared file(s)
#1
I have gotten into the habbit of configuring Multiple torrents accessing shared file(s) and I am a little confused about the new Swarm Merging feature in 5.6

Does the new swarm merge feature automate the multiple torrent/one file process that I do manually?

swarm merging only works during download with the intent of maximizing download speed and chance of completion of at least one copy of a file - as such 'merged' downloads do not share a common instance of a file, rather they have their own copies that are cross-populated where possible.
