Subscriptions Deleted
#1
All 100+ subscriptions were deleted after latest Beta (5.6.2.1_B15) update. Restored from last nights backup, however none of them came back. How can this be fixed, or do I have to recreate all of my subscriptions?

Your subscriptions are stored in two places within the config directory

1) the file "subscriptions.config"
2) the folder "subs" (should have a collection of .results and .vuze file in it)

Check that both of these have been restored successfully

Thanks for the info Parg, those files are listed where they are suppose to be, however a restore, using Tools -->Options-->Backup and Restore still will not restore my last good config. I've figured out how to manually import the subscription files though, so I've spend the last hour doing that. Let's hope it doesn't do it again!

hmm :( does the restore operation fail with an error or does it restore other stuff but just not the subscriptions?

It restored all of my previous settings, including my search templates, however it did not restore the subscriptions. No error is given when restoring.

I just ran a simple test and it seemed to restore the subscriptions - however it didn't re-open them in the sidebar, I had to click on the Subscriptions entry to show the subscriptions overview on the right and then hit the 'view' button to show them in the sidebar again.

I don't believe I tried that exactt method but the things I did try didn't work. I've fixed the issue for now, I just hope it doesn't happen again. Is any solution coming to alphabetical sorting of the subscriptions list in the sidebar? Thanks for all of the help parg!!
