ScaneRSS disappeared
#1
I've been using the ScaneRSS plugin for a while now. I like it because I'm able to assign categories to specific feeds, then have it put downloads in the correct folders. It's kind of important that this works correctly.  Anyway, I've been running it successfully for a few months. It's still working as it should, but I can no longer see it.  Whether I click on the plugin icon, or I choose View->ScaneRSS from the menu, all I get is a blank screen.

Anyone else run into this?  Got a work around?

Thanks

You could check the console for errors when trying to open the view. Or look in the debug_1.log (or debug_2.log) files in the 'logs' folder in the Vuze config folder.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Anything in particular I should look for?

If a UI related error was causing the view not to open then with luck there would be a stack trace in the console/debug logs each time you tried to open the view - it would likely mention SWT related stuff

Actually, I found a work around.  If I click the little "x" next to ScaneRSS in the left panel, under "Plugins & Extras" then choose it from the view menu, it refreshes the screen and I can see it again.  Not ideal, but it works.

Thanks for your feedback.
