Run Vuze on a Virtual Machine?

Has anyone tried to run Vuze and a VPN on a virtual machine (VMware 11.1)? I am having issues with BSOD's when running Vuze with PIA on my regular system. I wanted to experiment with different OS's (linux, etc) and versions of Vuze and PIA to try and find a stable platform. My current OS is a 64b Win7 Ultimate box.

I'm running Vuze under a Windows guest on a Linux host. I've found over the years that Windows is much more stable that way.
