I have been having an issue where every time I am on the Vuze (free version) client screen, my computer makes multiple repetitive mouse click noises, and the cursor changes to the spinning circle for just an instant during the sound. The mouse click noises happen when the screen is active; if I have it minimized, the sounds do not occur. I believe this issue is connected with the ads that show on the bottom left of the client screen. When I click the x to dismiss the ad, the click sounds do not happen, but the next time I open Vuze, the issue starts up again. I have searched the message boards and have done other internet searches but I have not found anything close to a solution for this. I know that I can just dismiss the ad every time I open Vuze, but this issue seems a little shady and makes me worry about the security of the program and the security of my system.
Any assistance on how to fix this issue, as well as advice on any other (free) antivirus/malware protector/firewall programs I could have that are better than what I currently have, would assuage my feelings on this and would be appreciated. Thank you.
