Random downloading

When using Vuze the past few days it will not hold a speed for more than a couple seconds. It will start downloading and hit good speeds but not for very long it goes to complete loss. Up to date and have reinstalled and even tried changing ports but nothing has helped. Does anyone know anything about this?

Very often yo-yoing speeds is an indicator of traffic shaping from your ISP.

first check here and locate your ISP.

then read this for suggestions on how to avoid your ISP's efforts (if necessary)

That should tell you for sure what is going on.
