RED Health? Can't download or connect to peers.
#1
Hi there,

I recently upgraded my router to a Netgear Nighthawk R7000. Never had issues with downloads before--but now every torrent I try to download is classified under red health (no peers). I tested the same torrent in utorrent and it worked fine--no idea if the speed was less or more than normal. So this clearly seems to be an issue with Vuze.

A lot of the help articles are extremely confusing to me and I don't want to make any changes to my computer or router without consulting first. Can anyone advise?

Thus far...
1. I ran the NAT/Server Port test with port 65534 and everything works properly.

2. I ran a Network Status Test and I seem to be running into some kind of outbound connection issue. No clue what that means. Here's the snippet of error code (just happened once): "(LL 3) Outbound connection fail: Connection reset by peer"

3. I ran a Network Speed & Diagnostic Test. Everything seems to work fine, then all of the sudden it starts to time out. I keep getting this message over and over again: "connect: Operation timed out" 2-3 times. But in the end it says it's completed successfully...?

4. Next I ran a BitTorrent specific test for uploads and downloads and it fails. Tried both standard and with encryption as well. Here are the results:
"requesting test...
preparing test...
starting test...

What should my next steps be? I'm tech-savvy, but not hugely so... so try to keep the terms simple if you can. :)

Thanks,

Cait
