Only download sections of a torrent

Hi,

I have this problem with every ....(insert swear word here) torrent client I have tried and it is really pissing me off that I've created this profile just to post this issue.  When I deselect an item from the list I do not want to download, the files still download!  Why?  What makes it even more frustrating is my current torrent I'm downloading, I only want to download 14gig of the 34gig file, and because the torrent downloads it in random sectors I can't just stop it half way through.

Before you say it's just some sort of visual glitch, I have opened these files that I didn't want to download so that proves that they are downloading.

Also consider setting Tools->Options->Files: Append data to files as download and reorder pieces as the download progesses
